Looks like Clemson will be a 5-seed and play Virginia on May 9 at approx. 1:30 pm in Durham. Still some games to play in the regular season this weekend around the league to settle the whole field.

I don’t understand. how can the 4th ranked team be the 5th seed in the tournament? This doesn’t make sense!

They are tied with Virginia and lost the series to the Cavaliers head-to-head earlier this season. Not a huge deal though because they play each other to start whether one is No. 4 or No. 5.

Are you thinking of the baseball team? The softball team hasn’t been ranked in the top 10 nationally for a while.

Clemson fell all the way down to around number 22/23 in the rankings in softball
Not sure where they are ranked now if they are
