Hard to guess why only Top 5 maybe and a loser program Top 3

But we've had coaching changes, they are in SEC, we are not located as close to his hometown, his hometown & coaches may be predominately USC fans, they may have the field of studies he wants, etc.
Whatever, he's showing high-level interest and that's all we need!
Oh, wonder who #1 school is?

Easy. 17 year olds do not always make the best decisions.

Hopefully this kid gets some good advice from the grownups in the room.
Historically, it seems to me that when/if we have had to "recruit the Coot out of" a prospect, it doesn't turn out that well even if we get them. Hope that is not the case here.

I went to woodland. If coach charpia was still there he would 100% go to Clemson. After he left I don’t think a player from woodland has went to Clemson. They had a defensive end go to uga, and they had a 6’7 receiver go to uva two years ago. Hopefully we get kam. Hey woodland doesn’t produce a ton of talent, but the 3 players that has gone to Clemson both had very good careers.

It's early, and Pringle is a 2024 recruit.
Two more ehh seasons out of the Gamecocks, and two more 10+ win seasons from us (esp. if one of them is a CFP season), and he'll see the (very bright) light.

We sure do hear that line quite often... "Offer I've been waiting for and coveting..."
Definitely a testament on where we're at as a program. If I had been "waiting" on something to come, it's because I want said item.

Kids nowadays know the history of how Dabo recruits at

Clemson. That is why, now a Clemson offer is much more coveted than just about any other, as it is a "Stamp of Approval" that not that many kids get each year.
A lot of kids may WANT that Clemson offer, but as Dabo says, he can spend 5 minutes with them and know if they would fit our culture or not. If the answer is NOT, then they won't get that offer, no matter how many "stars" they may have. I like that aspect of Dabo's recruiting.
I am pretty sure that Urban Meyer just looked at who we were recruiting that last couple years at 0310 State, and he would then put the full court press on them.

I think that's true of several coaches. But urban especially.

He was 8-9 years old the last time Clemson lost to SCAR ...

He effectively has no memory of SCAR being superior to Clemson in football.
If he chooses to commit to SCAR he’s doing so for reasons that others have instilled in him.
This is so often true of players born and raised in the Palmetto State.

After we beat USuCk into the ground this year, maybe they’ll drop out of his top 100.

The Cookies may be in his top 3, but when it comes down to it, he will want to play on the big stage. 'Bama, the Dawgs, OSU may compete for him, but he is too good to settle for a middle of the pack school, no matter how hard they recruit him.

Let’s just claim him to be a Tiger!

He’s so talented, I really don’t think we would waste a first offer on June 1st if we didn’t have a great shot at landing him.
I’m sure with the NIL he’s trying to be neutral and gage his value to all to see if he could land a big money deal. I can’t blame him at all but we do have a great chance of him being a Tiger too.
No better place than to have family who are for you, developing you and making you better in all areas like Clemson does. He won’t find that at any other school, plus we will be winning championships along the way too!
Kam Pringle is a beast at 6-7 330 lbs and he could anchor our championship teams with leadership, we need to welcome him to be a Tiger every legal way possible. He’s Clemson Gentleman that could have championships and come back to coach later in life too.
Imagine him as our OL coach!

LOL, he would have to get in line for the OL coaching job, that job is presently filled by a pretty good coach right now, and I'm sure for awhile down the road....
