Bakich and his staff have done a terrific job, and we may not appreciate just how good it has been. I don't think enough was made of just how bad the program was when they took over. Lee/See/Lecroy destroyed the talent/culture of the program, and it's going to take time to build that back.
The fact that this program won an ACC title last year and hosted a regional and has been a top-10 team most of this year shows just how good this staff is. The coaches are doing this with smoke and mirrors. The talent just doesn't match up with "elite" teams, especially on the mound. There is one legitimate weekend starter (and he's a freshman) and very little in the bullpen, and yet this team has won a lot of games. That says a lot about this staff.

🤣🤣 The state of Clemson baseball is we got swept last week by wake and are getting whipped by BC....in the last month we have played two ranked opponents and have gone 0-4

Pitching is AWFUL, hitting is streaky at best, base running is poor, defense is below average, 3rd base coach sucks

That is the CURRENT state of Clemson baseball

Even when they were 28-3, it was clear the talent doesn't match up with the top teams.

That is true....it took a miracle from God for us to win those early season games against top teams. I must admit, I bought into the hype but should have seen it sooner.

Stop watching! You clearly have no true understanding of the game and only watch the scoreboard.

What he said is 100% true. The incoming class this summer is Bakich’s 1st class. 95% his! And he will go get needs from the portal.

What do you want? Undefeated season?

Glad we won a lot of games early. Getting trucked at home by crap teams is not an improvement. With the postseason on the line no less.
