I could do without hearing how player x played for the glory of the one who is our creator, blah blah blah. His post-game interview after FAU sounded like a revival.

I agree, I think god should be left out of sports. Football on Friday and Saturday and God on Sunday.

I didn't criticize his play calling. And no, he doesn't have the right to preach in a post-game show. If he wants to hold bible studies, great, I'm for it. Provide religious counseling to players? Super. On a post-game show, you talk about the game, about which God has nothing to do. That's why it's called a game. You sure don't hear TB doing it.

Since I'm not his immediate supervisor or the person in charge of postgame, it isn't my call. If you feel that strongly about it either way, contacting the network or the athletic dept. about it is your prerogative.

but the post-game press conference is intended to disseminate info about the game. If he wants to preach, he certainly can, but it detracts a little IMO from what is supposed to be a football oriented interview.

it's just that his views of the game also had religious beliefs mixed in. He wasn't delivering a sermon so much as mixing in his gratitude and praise to God in his analysis of the game.
I get annoyed by Bible Thumpers too, but what makes me all out mad is people who get offended and want to silence anyone who brings up Jesus.

Spence has done a great job for Clemson. His play calling may have been conservative at times but you cannot argue with success and the Tigers are very successful this year!
We are lucky to have the coaching staff we do. Thanks to them and others we have vastly improved our recruiting, thus our talent, and we are now a feared opponent for ANYONE, ANYWHERE. The Tigers are back on top!

here, and you can tell by the looks of our offense. I remember at times last year when I just wanted to scream "NO MORE GOTD*MN SCREEN PASSES" but this year you can tell they've been reduced and are being used in much more effective ways. He still prefers the bubble screen to the 5-yard out, but this year everything is working better because of the balance of the playcalling. Just look at the second to last drive in the FSU game and then the last drive. Pretty good stuff in my opinion.
