My two picks for coordinators ...

We do not have an offensive coordinator position open but if it does become open I would love to see Joe Brady in that spot or Chad Morris for a second stint.
For defensive coordinator, this will not be a popular pick but I think Will Muschamp would be a fantastic hire for Dabo.

You’re right. Morris would be a controversial pick.

I liked him a lot when he was here, as most of us did.
Do you think he would bring the same fire and passion that he did before when he was an up-and-coming assistant? Or would he be different after his failed head coaching experiment?

True, but if your schemes are only successful at the college level, you’ve got to learn to love it, or make a career change.

For what reason would anyone want a repeated proven failure to come onboard at Clemson?

Maybe Muschamp has a different personality outside of football, but regardless of his football mind I just can't see him fitting the Clemson culture.

Streeter will be the next offensive coordinator and T. Boyd will move into QB coach. Not real sure on D. coordinator.

Based on what? Past promotions and him being the most tenured? If the playoff game last year is a glimpse of his abilities, then that’s a hard pass.

Yes true, but remember he had only a week to get ready for the play calling because TE announcement of Covid was right before the game. They did score 28 points on an off night. It was BV defense that gave up 49.

The OC also coaches a position. Streeter would most likely still coach QBs. We would need someone to coach TEs.

Not saying I want Morris but I would judge his time

at Auburn for anything.
It’s was well known that ole Gus was calling the plays and would not let Chad do what he was hired to do.
With that said, I would like to see us get some new younger blood on staff. Guys with energy that want to move up. I’d take a hard look at some of the OC’s in the Group of Five. Good talent there.
Whatever happens on offense (assuming we make a change) it has to be a home run. Our D is going to take a step backwards regardless of who we hire in that role. I’d throw a sink at Mason.

Agreed on that whole Morris/malzahn situation. Gus couldn’t get out of his own way those last few seasons.
Zach Kittley would have been an interesting name for OC before Texas Tech scooped him up. Although I’m not sure how he’d modify his air raid concepts when the most productive players were RBs from this season. If Elliott does go, Brady or Kendall Briles would be two names to reach out to to judge any interest.
On defense, check in on Jim Leonard and if not, make a run at Iowa States DC.
Way too much doom and gloom around here this season. “Worst” season in a decade and the team still has a chance at 10 wins again. At least 125 other FBS teams would be ecstatic with that.
Go tigers!

I guess yall are just entertaining yourselves. It ain’t like Dabo is posting jobs on Indeed.
Streeter would become OC, Tahj to QB Coach.
Bates to DC, and an analyst to DL Coach.
And this is all done by Christmas.
Any questions?

Willy Korn would be a good choice for the OC job. Look what he has done with Coastal.

At a social function that both attended very early in Mus's SC career, a reporter with a cellphone video caught Mus telling Dabo, "I think your wife was hitting on me."
To which Dabo replied, "Nah. She wasn't. She's like that with everybody."
Two fighters throwing jabs, at best. Making faces, at worst.
The two coaches were probably over it instantly, but once the story went public it simmered for years amongst us fans.
Can you tell?

Marion Hobby as DC. Was groomed by Venables for the position. Awesome recruiter.
