Two Holes after Ben made it to 4 Under . . . He found a pothole fairway bunker with his drive and had to “take his medicine” to get out . . . failing to get up and down from 91 yards cost him his only bogey of the day and dropped him to 3 Under, 6 Under for the Tournament and a current T-30th Place . . . Still a “Move” in the right direction!!!

Doc and “the coot” (Wesley Bryan) have started well!!! Doc with 2 birdies through 6 Holes and Wesley with an eagle through 7 Holes, both with clean cards otherwise.

place and Jason Duffner, before I found a name other than our guys that I recognized. Literally ALL the current top players must already be across the pond. I like Lucas chances tomorrow. When a total unknown shoots 63 and has the lead going into the last round like this Trevor Cone does, the overwhelming history says he will fold his tent tomorrow.

While the current projected Cut has risen to +4, Alice’s play has not improved . . . She is 2 shots off the Cut with 7 Holes to play . . . 3 of which are Par 5’s . . . She played those same 3 Par 5’s in 2 Under fashion yesterday . . . 🤞🏻 Fingers are still Crossed 🤞🏻

As you see, suspended for lightning. Not something you see often. Cut moved to 5... but I'm not sure she'd be real pleased squeezing into the cut. It was on YouTube.

Lucas is still throwing darts . . . but the arm-lock putter has cooled . . . Out of his first 4 holes, birdie putts of 18’ and two 12 footers have squeaked by the holes . . . They will start dropping once he breaks the seal!!!
Doc has doubled his birdies since last posting . . . he is up to 4 now (through 12 Holes)!!!
Our Tigers are “moving” in the right direction!!!
Since posting (above), Lucas sank a 12 footer for birdie . . . The Leaderboard is getting crowded at the Top!!! (attachment)

While Lucas missed a 5 footer for Par . . . Doc kicked in a 3 footer for birdie . . . and moved into the Top 10!!!
Doc is now 6 Under through 14 Holes . . . and has “Moved Up” the Leaderboard some 32 Places!!!

Doc has really helped himself out today. Put himself in position for a good payday and possibly a W. Thought he was going to roll in that eagle.
Lucas just stuck in neutral. Just a couple yards from being 2 or 3 under. Good back 9 Lucas. Keep up the pace.

Doc is charging . . . While Lucas took 3 shots to get down from 18.5 feet away on Hole #8, Doc kicked in another 2.5 footer for birdie on the same hole.
Lucas has slipped to a T-4th Place . . . While Doc has charged into a T-8th Place, only 1 shot behind Lucas!!!
Pulling for Lucas to find his groove again and for Doc to birdie his last hole of the day (#9).

Lucas is the only player in the top 10 that is not under par for today's round. He better get going or he is going to be passed by a lot of players! No excuse for not getting down in two from 18 feet.

He was in the rough and short-sided . . . but still . . . his initial chip only went 7 feet to the fringe . . . maybe it was sitting “high” in the rough and he whiffed under it . . . I don’t know, but you’ve got to do better than that . . . especially if you’re Leading the Tournament . . . which he was at the time. 🤦🏼♂️
Doc is finished . . . bogey free and 7 Under for the day . . . -12 and currently T-10th Place for the Tournament.

the Cut chased Alice down to +6 . . . but she was determined not to play tomorrow as she fell to +8 for the Tournament and is done for the week . . . unless the Cut falls 2 more Places!!!
Oh well . . . Time to regroup for another day.

Probably a good chance it slips to 7. 8 may be a stretch. Just depends on the weather. You know how that goes over there. Perfect condition on one hole and horrendous on another. The par 5's must be difficult because with 6 on the card, you'd think scoring would be lower.
Side note: the young lady from Washington rolled in what looked to be 20-25 feet on her birdie on 18. Here's a snapshot.

No she didn't. Hopefully this will make all of them that much hungrier and we'll see an epic season. It should be quite the battle for that 5th rotation spot.
I'm thinking week after next is the western am with Annabelle and Savannah. Bonus golf.

Lucas rallied by birdying 3 of his final 6 holes to salvage his round . . . Shooting 3 Under for the day has him @ -16 for tge Tournament and T-2nd Place, just 1 shot off the Lead . . . He kept himself in the game even though his putter wasn’t nearly as warm today.
Tomorrow should be FUN!!!
BTW - Jacob is 2 Under through his first 7 Holes (w/ a DOUBLE BOGEY) at the KFT Event . . . He is currently T-14th Place!!!

Totally agree. I think it'll take a -5 round, 21 under to win/playoff. Someone at 12, 13 now could easily put up a number like cone did. Lucas on Thursday etc.
I really thought Jacob was going to get on a roll and post 6 , 7 under. He's 3 putted 4 greens this tournament. 2 today. Stats say he's t10 in birdies but close to t60 in bogeys. Ouch. He needs a hot stick tomorrow to move up in points.
