So this format I'm realizing heavily favors the top 4 teams. We can decide our pitching after we know if we are playing the winning or losing team on Thursday.

I was thinking that Knaack may not have enough rest but if Darden is the guy, all I will say is keep the ball down, hit spots and hope the defense is where they hit it

4 days rest is plenty, and it's standard in MLB. 5 man rotations means you pitch every 5 days (plus a day off here and there when there isn't a game scheduled).

Normally it would be but I don't think we know the whole story on Knaack. Remember Bakich sat him two weeks ago for some shoulder soreness which is strange considering his pitch count wasn't extraordinarily high. Maybe there is more to the story and Bakich is being careful with him

Knaack will not pitch Thursday. It’s not rocket science… setting him up to pitch on Saturday is way more important than trying to waste him just to advance in the acc tournament. Yes it will be nice if we win but Knaack will pitch Saturday if make it if not he will pitch again the following Saturday.

Well Miami is a very solid team and we will be facing their ace who threw a complete game against us last time. If we lose our ACC tournament is over...that's why I was thinking we would go with our best pitcher
