Re: So If The SEC is So Great Why Do Their Coaches Quit, Get

This is ALL because of the combination of Saban, "SEC, SEC, SEC", and unrealistic expectations.
Every SC, Vandy, KY, Missouri, etc. thinks they're "the SEC", when really it's Saban. He wins games & has highly ranked teams and the rest ride his coattails. They have long expected to have similar success, apparently only now realizing that coattail riding isn't the same as winning. For the SEC, the road to all championships goes through Tuscaloosa.
The only reason the recent Les Miles (almost) debacle took place is because Saban has owned him for the last few years.
Saban is the SEC. The rest of the SEC is the Mountain West.
b) The SEC is living off reputation and isn't the best football conference anymore.
c) The SEC East is the worst Power5 conference in the country. Florida can't complete a forward pass, got destroyed by FSU, and is playing for the SEC Championship. Now that's funny.
d) Alabama is the best the SEC has and hasn't beaten anybody elite. That's who the SEC is.
