From Anniston Star:
Neither Flint nor Elston were among those who announced their college intentions during the game, which was broadcasted on ESPN. Both will likely land out of state. Flint, originally an Auburn commit before reopening his recruitment, said he’s considering Iowa, Nebraska, Wake Forrest and Missouri. Elston, who played on both sides of the ball throughout his career, had a solid showing with five tackles, including four solo stops. “I feel pretty good,” Elston said of his performance. “With these receivers you’ve just got to adjust. I just wanted to play football. A lot of people say that I’m small. So, I’m trying to make up for my size.” Elston referred to his recruitment as open and listed Georgia Tech, Louisiana-Lafayette, Oklahoma State and California as schools he’s still considering.
