A day after Jadeveon Clowney announced on ESPNU that Clemson was indeed in the mix for his services - along with South Carolina and Alabama - Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney has personally taken over Clowney's recruitment, according to sources.
Swinney has given the coaching staff some well-deserved time off for a ski trip to Colorado this weekend. Meanwhile, Swinney will stay in contact with Clowney as much as NCAA rules will allow. There are also rumors all over the internet that Clowney will visit Clemson again on February 12 for the UNC basketball game. Clowney is scheduled to announce his decision on February 14.
