Former Clemson guard reportedly headed to La Salle

Sophomore guard/forward Scott Spencer has found his new home.

According to a report by CBSSports' Jon Rothstein, Spencer has committed to play for La Salle. He will have to sit out the 2018-2019 season because of the current NCAA transfer rules.

Spencer averaged 1.3 points and 0.6 rebounds per game last season while playing 175 minutes (7.0 minutes per contest).

He scored a career-high six points in the 2017-18 season opener against Western Carolina. He also set career-bests in field goals made (3) and rebounds (4) in the opener. His most minutes played came versus Virginia Tech on Feb. 21 (22).
