I agree. Looking at the last 3-4 weeks this is not a Top 8 seed. Lose this series and we will not host a regional. I think it's that simple.

This team isn’t even a shadow of itself just a few weeks ago. What the heck happened? 2 injuries is bad but #### man. BC?

It's not the injures. The team had major pitching issues early in tbe season. Early season lack of info on pitchers is an advantage. We are now in tbe latter part and everyone has full scouting reports. We are now seeing young pitchers that don't have many tricks in their bags that can show different stuff. None are overpowering so it's all on movement and speed change. Young pitchers have not perfected those tools. Post-season is gonna disappoint the unrealistic portion of the fan base. Tigers are 2 years from Omaha. "Mark the tape"

An idiot would be a fan that expects Omaha in year 2. Backich will most likely retire at Clemson. He did take over a roster of mostly underdeveloped players. He is building something. This is not a top 8bseed. The pitching is way too inconsistent. Pump the brakes folks and watch a special program grow!!
