, considered one of the top college football prospects in Minnesota, has made a commitment to play at Stanford. “Stanford has pretty much been my No. 1 choice all along,” Davidson said Wednesday. “I took a visit out there the summer after my sophomore year and again in the spring after my junior year and I loved it both times. It just always seemed like the best fit for me.” In addition to Stanford, Davidson had also given serious consideration to Ohio State, Oregon, Clemson, and Colorado. Attended Clemson's junior day in March. Class of 2012 ESPNU 150 Watch List Recruit. As a junior, he had 49 knockdown blocks and did not allow a sack all season. He plans to study Engineering at Stanford.
