A long-striding, high-jumping 6-5 receiver for the Lake Marion Gators, Williams recently wrapped up camps with Clemson and Georgia. Clemson was the first school to offer. Georgia offered following the camp. According to Lake Marion head coach Chris Carter, South Carolina and Florida have also offered.
"Coach (Mark) Richt told me, Mike can either decide to be great or decide to be good," Carter said. "He said, ‘We look at him and see a lot of talent. If Mike gets real serious about this, he can set the stage for where he would like to go.' He said that Mike does things effortlessly, but if he gets serious, takes a summer to train and get right, there's no telling how far he can go."
