From WGRZ:
Kelly told 2 On Your Side's Stu Boyar, "this is a dream come true. This is just awesome and I can't explain how happy I was to be invited to this event." Kelly said he learned a lot during the five day event. "These are all-americans that I'm playing against, you have to make quick decisions, that's what I learned." As a junior, Kelly ran 86 times for 1,057 yards and 15 touchdowns. He completed 137-of-249 passes for 2,159 yards with 24 touchdowns and eight interceptions. No other New York player has rushed for more than 1,000 yards and passed for more 2,000 yards in the same season.
One of the feature parts of the competition (Nike Opening) was a 7-on-7 tournament. Kelly was the quarterback for team Alpha-Talon in the event. He led the team to a perfect 3-0 record in pool play on Friday and then all the way to the championship on Saturday.
