According to Corey Long of ESPN:
"I am going to be checking out a lot of stuff on the field this weekend," Fuller said. "I want to see how the defensive backs play and where I can fit within the scheme. I'm going to be talking with coach [Ron] Zook and some of the players. I'm definitely going to see everything I can with this trip. And there's good reason for that, as Fuller's first trip to Illinois will be his first trip anywhere outside of the Southeast." "I'm going to get up there and see what it's like," he said. "I've never been up North before; I've never been above Tennessee. I know up there they do things a lot different then we do in Florida and I want to see what it's like up there." As a junior, he had 133 tackles, six forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, 20 tackles for loss and three sacks.
"Fuller said the Illini are probably recruiting him the hardest and are definitely among his top schools. Maryland, Indiana and Georgia Tech have also stepped up their communication. UCF, UCLA and Wisconsin have also offered."
