Clemson to play Old Dominion in football in 2014? |
According to Hamptonroads.com, Old Dominion's athletic director Wood Selig is searching for a football game on the road that will pay the Monarchs at least $1 million.
“We’re not going to do it every year, but on a given year if it makes sense and helps us financially, then we’re going to do it.” Selig said he’s had informal discussions with Clemson athletic director Dan Radakovich, who according to www.fbschedules.com has one game left to schedule in 2014.
“If it helps our program from a national visibility standpoint and we can go play one game and generate $1.4 million, it just makes sense.
