I was originally born in Delaware but my father, thankfully, took a job teaching Mathematics at Clemson when I was 4 ... My family lived in Clemson for a few years where my dad, and eventually my sister received their Masters ... I was stuck going to USC for a Journalism Degree ... My father was influential in getting Ibrahim to Clemson where the two started Soccer Intramurals and we all know where that led, to Soccer National Championships !! ... One of my favorite Clemson stories was one my dad told me. Originally dad would go back to Delaware in the summers to continue work with Dupont as a Chemical Engineer until Frank Howard came to him one spring and asked "Peter, how much do those boys at Dupont pay you to go back during the summers? Cause I'll match it. I have some boys who need some learning." ... Clemson is family! The accomplishments athletically and academically are just icing on my orange cake !!!

As a neat note, my sister, for some reason, decided to marry an ex USC football player, the two agreed to let their son and daughter decide who they would root for and I am happy to say they both accompany me to Clemson games from time to time ... They are 9 and 5 at the moment and both now the Clemson Fight Song ...
