Born in the Bronx. Moved down South in 1980. Never heard of USC or Clemson before then. Was told by many High School kid) to move back North because I wanted a decent slice of pizza. Decided to go into journalism in '82, and USC in '83. Said I would make up my mind in the in-state rivalry by the results of the '83 USC-Clemson game. I had to stay up after midnight to watch the game on tape delay. You all know why. Clemson won, but USC wore all black, and I dug it. Went to Carolina in '84, and it was Black Magic. Hasn't lived up to my initial exposure to it, but I'm sticking with it.
Will make the occasional dig at your expense, but I'm not Anti-Clemson. Just pro-USC. But I'm also all for all of South Carolina's schools, except when they play USC.
