I am a cowboy philosopher and a lover of wines. I long to cook on the grill. I received my training in grilling steaks, hamburgers, hot dogs, and other animal meats at Clemson University in the late 80s early 90s. I have become dangerously proficient to the point of often proclaiming I will not eat a steak in a restaurant. I am arrogant on the grill.

I am a lover of Clemson and a beer drinker. I received my indoctrination into Clemson football by osmosis. The love just seeped into me. Early on in my life, my heroes were Charlie Pell and Danny Ford. When Clemson won the National Title when I was 10 years old, I was unfazed. I thought they were always number one. I now chase the mythical national championship dragon with my Tigers. Now my heroes are Danny Ford and Tommy Bowden. My first year at Clemson's was Danny's last as coach. Some say his shadow looms too large. I say it provides us nice shade.
