Cervenka plays tight end and defensive tackle for in-state program Emerald high school. As a junior, he had 100 tackles, 28 tackles for loss, and 3 sacks. He has football offers from Clemson, Duke, North Carolina State, Old Dominion, Toledo, Wake Forest, and others. The 6-3 280 pound defensive standout also has an outstanding 142-1 record in high school wrestling.
