Maurice Wells - Running Back Copy Embed Code
Height: 5-10   Weight: 180   Hometown: Jacksonville, FL (Sandalwood HS)   Class: 2005

Maurice Wells is one of the most coveted running backs in the nation this year. Wells had a very honest response when asked about his offers.

"I have received offers from pretty much everybody."

The Sandalwood star tailback camped at Georgia Tech this summer.

"It was alright. It was just something to do. Their assistant head coach is my head coach's father. My coach is not putting any pressure on my to go to Georgia Tech. He wants me to go where is the best place for me."

This summer Wells added 10 pounds to bulk up to 185. Even with the added weight, Wells still runs consistents 4.35s. Wells is a player who can cut on a dime, and he has great vision to find the hole.

Wells has not set any personal goals this season, rather he is focusing on the State Title.

"We were one games short of making State last year. All I care about is winning the State Championship this season."
