From The Times and Democrat:
"It was a freak accident," the coach said. "That why I don't get too hyped up about (7-on-7s). We lost Zeph (Grimes) last year, and the year before that we lost a guy doing (7-on-7s). ‘Agg' just came down, was turning up field and, at first I thought it was just a hyper extension. But, it is an ACL tear. He is fine and optimistic even though he won't play this year. "He came on right there at the end of the spring," Crosby added. "He realized that he is pretty good and had a chance to be pretty good for us." He has an offer from Florida and Pittsburgh so far early in his high school career. As a freshman, he had 24 catches for 489 yards and 2 touchdowns. He is the cousin of Da'Quan Bowers.
According to Crosby(Bower's head coach), Bowers tore an ACL in a 7-on-7 contest against Woodland.
