Upstate Product On The Rise
Ameer Salahuudin is one of the top corners in South Carolina. Salahuudin attended every Clemson home game last season, but really starting gaining attention in the state playoffs.
"When we played Byrnes, they had two receivers that signed scholarships. I was matched up with Freddie Brown, who went to South Carolina a lot. I was able to play really good coverage against them all night."
That is a performance that many schools are looking at now to judge Salahuudin. He now holds offers from Clemson, Duke, Maryland, and NC State.
"I don't have a favorite right now. I went to Clemson and South Carolina's junior days. Both went really well. South Carolina has not offered, but they are showing a lot of interest in me."
There is a lot of coaches that will have their eye on T.L. Hanna this season, as the Jackets will have two of the Palmetto State's best in Salahuudin and Ben Alexander.
