How do you feel about being selected to the Shrine Bowl?

“It was a great honor to be selected. To be one of 44 players selected out of all the seniors in the state of South Carolina.”

What position will you be playing this week?

“I am gonna be playing right tackle. I played tackle for my team this year.”

How difficult will it be to learn the terminology this week?

“It is somewhat similar to our offense. There are some things that are different, but it may be just a different letter.”

What schools are you looking at?

“I took a lot of unofficial visits. I have Maryland set up for January 6th and NC State for January 13th. The Wolfpack has a great fan environment. I was a fan of the Wolfpack since I was a little boy. I liked Maryland for their basketball, but then I started learning more about their football.

Which type of blocking are you more comfortable with?

“I prefer run blocking. I will pass block if I have to, but I prefer to run block.”

Do you feel this is a chance to improve your standing this week?

“Yes, sir.”

How has your visit to the hospital been?

“This visit to the hospital makes you realize how fortunate you are. You know we may get upset about a bad play, but at least we have the opportunity to make a bad play.”
