Udell Looking At Clemson
Clemson could easily call it a day at cornerback with verbal commitments from Byron Maxwell and Crezdon Butler. One player Clemson is continuing to pursue is Marcus Udell. Udell is a teammate of Clemson commitment DeAndre McDaniel and Clemson target Kareem Crowell. Udell says he definitely has interest in Clemson.
"Clemson is still on my list. There is a good chance I will take an official visit to Clemson. Coach Swinney is my recruiter there and I told him I was definitely thinking about it."
Florida has appeared to be the team to beat with Udell for quite some time. Udell says nothing is a done deal yet.
"Florida is on my list as well. I like what Florida has to offer, but I am going to take my visits before I make my final decision. Maryland, Iowa, Ohio State, and Alabama are also on my list."
Is McDaniel working Udell for Clemson?
"I wouldn't say he is pushing real hard. He has let me know he thinks a lot of Clemson, but we know we have to make the decision that is best for us."
Udell has official visits scheduled to Maryland (12/16), Florida (1/13), and Iowa (1/27).
