UGA self-imposes NCAA violation over Isaiah Crowell
UGA is already under some NCAA scrutiny after they had former players, David Pollack and Randall Godfrey spoke at Ray Drew's signing day announcement.
It seems that they are also in violation in recruitment of another top player, #1 running back recruit Isaiah Crowell.
According to the Birmingham News:
Crowell was used in a simulated play formation during his official visit to the school in January. Georgia inquired with the SEC, which advised the school it had committed a violation.
Georgia punished Richt by restricting him from making recruiting phone calls during the April evaluation period, which runs from April 15-30. It also asked for Crowell to have his eligibility restored.
