Mullen and Gary will commit live on TV on National Signing Day

The No. 1 college football recruit on Recruiting Nation’s ESPN 300 list, Rashan Gary, plans to announce his college commitment live from the Bristol, CT SportsCenter studio, during the 1 p.m. hour, on ESPN2. This will mark the fourth-consecutive year the No. 1 player’s announcement has aired within the ESPNU National Signing Day Special.

Gary is one of 13 impact players with live commitments scheduled during the ESPNU National Signing Day Special. Every player is in the Top 150 of the ESPN 300 rankings, 10 recruits are in the Top 50 and 12 players are in the Top 5 at their position, including the No. 1 linebacker Ben Davis and No. 1 safety Deontay Anderson.

In addition to live announcements and interviews, the 11th annual special features exclusive programming across five television networks, on-site reporting at 15 college campuses – including every Top 10 recruiting team – at least 20 streaming options on ESPN3 and WatchESPN, more than 30 head coach interviews and hourly updates to ESPN.com’s Recruiting Nation Class Rankings. Full details were released earlier this week.
