Running backs coach Burton Burns always does an outstanding job recruiting the Atlanta area. Last year, he was able to sign highly rated running back James Davis. This year one of his top prospects is Westlake High School's Kiante Tripp.
Tripp is an outstanding defensive lineman, who has offers from Florida, Clemson, Auburn, Georgia, Oklahoma, Alabama, among others. Tripp currently has three schools that standout. "Georgia, Auburn, and Florida are my top three. My coach has taken me to Georgia and Auburn. They are both really nice schools. My teammate, Mike Brown, goes to Florida. He really likes it there and tells me I would have a chance to play early." Tripp attended the Athens Nike Camp this past weekend. "That was probably the most competitive camp I have ever been. I was able to put myself up against some of best players around. It was a great challenge and I believe I held my own."
