Menendez linebacker Tony Steward scored three different ways to lead his team to to a 36-15 win over Middleburg. Steward returned a kickoff for a touchdown, threw a touchdown and also scored a rushing touchdown.
Steward took an unofficial recruiting visit the next day to Alabama to watch the top-ranked Crimson Tide dismantle Florida. Alabama is making a push for the services of Steward as is Miami. However, it appears for now Florida St and Clemson still lead. He says he'll wait until Signing Day to announce.
