Tigers Make Early Move On Childers
Clemson will look to add 2-3 wide receivers in the 2006 recruiting class. Tori Childers fits the prototype for what head coach Tommy Bowden wants in a receiver. A six foot five 200 plus pound frame and he runs very well.
"Clemson is definitely one of the schools I am looking at right now. Clemson and Auburn are probably my top two schools right now. Michigan, Virginia Tech, and South Carolina are sending me stuff as well."
Childers wants to have the opportunity to play football and basketball at the next level, and that will be something he discusses with all of the schools he becomes involved with.
Childers will be one of the wideouts in South Carolina next season. Childers likes what he sees so far from Clemson.
"I think I'd fit in well at Clemson. They had a lot of receivers that I could compare myself to like Rod Gardner and Kevin Youngblood. We'll see how everything goes though."
