Playing wide receiver, running back, defensive back, safety, and on
special teams for the Banneker High Trojans, Carlos Thomas was
always on the field. And judging by his 1,000 plus yards of total offense,
the young man rarely tired.
Colleges such as Clemson, LSU, Louisville, Purdue, Florida, and Georgia
are among those who have showed interest in Thomas, but he has
already committed to Georgia Tech. That committment, however, doesn't
mean he won't consider other schools.
"I like the program at Clemson a lot," Thomas said. "It's my second
choice behind Georgia Tech."
"I am really not sure when I will make me final decision. The reason I
chose Georgia Tech was because that was where I felt the most
comfortable. For me to change my mind would take somewhere that
makes me feel more comfortable than Tech."
Thomas is scheduled to visit the Tigers on January 14.
