Darius Dewberry is one of top linebacker prospects in the country. Dewberry is a sign and place candidate, but that has not caused Clemson and Georgia to back away.
"I have already had in home visits from Clemson and Georgia. Both went well. I am not sure if they are coming by this week or not. I expect to hear from them soon." Dewberry played in the Georgia All Star game a few weeks back. Dewberry played on what was a loaded linebacking core with Tray Blackmon, Dan Foster, and Antonio Clay. "I had a good game. Probably had about five tackles or so. I made some big hits. I had good time getting to meet the top players in the state of Georgia." It appears that Clemson and Georgia will be the only two schools that Dewberry will take official visits to. "Georgia and Clemson are still my leaders. I have my official visit to Clemson on January 14. I am working on my visit date to Georgia. My visits will be a big factor in my decision. I want the school I go to, to have a great academic program. Both of Georgia and Clemson already have great academic programs. I want to feel at home."
