Tim Tebow jumped on the radar of every school in the country very early. He is considered to be one of the most dangerous dual threat quarterbacks in the country. With a junior season where he posted over 5,000 yards of total offense, it is pretty easy to see why.
Dabo Swinney is recruiting Tebow for the Tigers. This past weekend Tebow made an unofficial visit to Clemson. "My Dad and I went up to Clemson this weekend. It was a good trip. Coach Swinney and Coach Bowden really treated us well. They informed the direction of the program, and how the offense is going to be ran this season. I really enjoyed my time at Clemson." Could the Tigers be in line for an official visit? "I have not narrowed it down that much, yet. I know I am going to try and be up there for the first game against Texas A&M. It is going to be a night game, and I am sure it will be packed. Also, I was not able to meet with Coach Leggett. I want to play baseball in college as well, and Clemson is one of the schools that has said they would allow me to do both. Coach Bowden told me he has one player that plays both right now, but took this baseball season off." Tebow plans to take a few more trips in the month of June, and then he is really getting away. "We are going to take a few more unofficial visits this month. Then in July, I am going on a mission trip to the Phillipines with my Dad. I will be gone pretty much the whole month of July. After we get back, we will most likely sit down and discuss where I will take my five official visits." We will continue to keep you updated as Swinney looks to land another top recruit from the state of Florida.
