CJ Spiller is one of the top rated running backs this year, and Clemson has begun to make strides. It appeared for a long time Florida State was the school to beat, and the Tigers did not have much of chance. Spiller has begun to open up and Clemson was a school he listed.

"Alabama, Clemson, Southern Cal, Florida State, Miami, Florida, Tennessee, and Georgia Tech are the schools I am looking at. I really like what those schools have to offere."

Spiller will be visiting Clemson the weekend of Florida State. A weekend that is shaping up to be a preview weekend for the big January 13th weekend.

"I am going to the Clemson-Florida State game. I told Coach Swinney I would be there. It should be an amazing atmosphere. Clemson is starting to play well, and I expect it to be a very good game."

Spiller did say he will visit Southern Cal officially, but he is undecided on his final four visits.

"It will be four of the schools I told you. It will be after my season, when I decide."

Clemson has its work cut out for them with Spiller. Clemson does have an ace on the job with Swinney, so nothing will be surprising here. After the Florida State game, Spiller will most likely be able to indicate if he plans on making an official visit to Clemson.
