First Coast High School produces D-1 talent every year. The Tigers have former First Coast stars Brandon Croley and Paul Muse. This year the Tigers are evaluating Jamire Williams. Williams is a cornerback, who is building an impressive offer sheet.

"Georgia Tech, South Carolina, South Florida, Nebraska, West Virginia, and Tennessee have offered. Coach Swinney came by the school last week, and he told me coach they were still looking at me."

Williams says he understands and is very proud of the tradition at First Coast.

"There are a lot guys from First Coast that are about to make a big splash. Paul and Brandon are about to do some big things at Clemson. Alex (Rose) is going to make things happen. It is my job to carry on the tradition. I want to have big senior year and carry us in the playoffs."

Swinney is recruiting Williams for Clemson, and his presence does help the Tigers.

"All the guys have had good things to say about Coach Swinney. He seems like a really good recruiter. I look forward to talking to him more."
