Some reports came out at the first of last week reporting that Quentez Ruffin may be wavering on his commitment to Clemson. In reality, those statements were false reports. Ruffin wanted the air to be cleared and for Clemson fans and coaches to know that he is excited to be a Tiger. Here is what Ruffin had to say on whether or not he will take anymore official visits.

"No, I decided I shouldn't because I made a solid verbal commitment to Clemson. I wouldn't want the coaches to be worried or feel threatened. Another thing was I was excited about me commitment, but I knew I would be left out when my teammates were going all over the country. So, I just wanted to see some places I haven't seen before, and now I know I made the right decision."

After Ruffin cleared the air, he wanted everyone to know that no one not even the coaches are recruiting TJ Williams any harder for Clemson.

"Everyday after practice, on weekends, any chance I get I am working on TJ. We made a pact that we would continue our college careers together, so I am going to try and hold him to that."

Ruffin suffered a tough loss last Thursday night, but has bounced back with the attitude of a winner.

"We lost late in the game. We gave up a safety with two minutes to go that cost us the game. Thats how it goes sometimes now we got to bounce back and work even harder than before and prepare to go out and dominate the rest of the season and not even keep games close anymore."

Coach Swinney was on hand at Ruffin's game on Thursday, but was only able to speak briefly with Ruffin. Ruffin referred to the conversation saying it was brief but went well.
