How was your senior season?

This was my best season out of all three that I have started. I just got nominated to play in the Califorina – Florida game. That’s a big thing around here. It was my best year. It was a break out year.

How did the commitment come down with Coach Swinney

It basically came down to Coach Dabo Swinney telling me about the graduation rates. And my mom said for you to be a great athlete you have to hit the books. So he showed me the graduation rates, and how they were ranked 11th in the country. Besides all the privates schools and Duke they are really number 2 in the country in graduation. It came down to that. He was talking, and then it got quiet and the spotlight was on me. He asked if there was anything I wanted to tell him. I told him that I wanted to give him my full commitment that I was going to attend Clemson University.

Was it a difficult decision for you? What other schools were involved?

Basically the other schools were South Carolina, Arkansas, Louisville, and Georgia. It was kind of hard but by coach Swinney recruiting me and he will be my position coach that is a great honor.

Have you visited Clemson?

I came up there for the South Carolina game. And I came during the summer.

What have you been told your role will be in the offense?

Basically he said I remind him of Derrick Hamilton. I’m tall and skinny. He said I have chance to come in and play early and have a big impact on the team. If I come in weighing 180 and work hard, I got a chance to play early. They said they would not redshirt me when I come in.

Talk about your game at wide receiver and what separates you from some of the other wide receivers in the South.

Basically I am slimey. When I catch the ball I make a move and then I am gone. Basically they say small wide receiver will not make it. I feel I’m small, tall, skinny and quick. If I just keep getting stronger and keep getting faster and quicker I believe I can help the team out a whole lot.

How are your academics?

Basically I have to take the test again. The first time I took it I scored a 15 on it and basically I have to take another math for me to get qualified. I have plenty of time to get qualified.

Will you take any other visits besides the one to Clemson on January 14th?

No I will take no other visits. I am fully committed to Clemson.

What do you need to work on this summer?

I have to gain weight and get stronger. If I come in small like this that means I wasted time during the summer.
