Pinion averaged 39.7 yards per punt as a sophomore in 2009. He kicked 17 punts inside the 20-yard line. 37 of 50 kick-offs went for touchbacks. ESPNU underclassmen kicking challenge earned #1 ranking for class of 2012 punters.
