One Of Georgia's Finest Lists Tigers
There are not many programs in the nation that can claim to have more success than Parkview High School in Georgia. Year in and year out Parkview is competing for state championships.
Clemson has had some success landing players out of Parkview. Redshirt sophomore Brandon Pilgrim and recent signee Michael Palmer both played at Parkview. Clemson will be competing with a host of schools at Parkview in 2007.
Parkview's Caleb King will be one of the most sought after running backs in the country. King has all the tools a coach could want in a running back. On film, King makes the first guy miss every time, and he has the speed to take the distance anytime he touches the ball.
Clemson along with a host of schools in the southeast have already offered King.
"Clemson, Georgia, Auburn, LSU, Tennessee, and Florida have all offered. I am getting a lot of letters in the mail. I am having a hard time sorting through everything. It has been really crazy since last Wednesday. It is kind of overwhelming to tell you the truth."
King said it was likely he would attend the Nike Camp at Clemson. Clemson has become more attractive to running backs the last two years with the signings of James Davis and CJ Spiller. The task of hitting a third consecutive home run falls to Ron West.
