Height: 5-10   Weight: 180   Hometown: Jacksonville, FL (Sandalwood HS)   Class: 2005

Maurice Wells has drawn offers from virtually everyone across the country this season. Right now, he is working on setting up his official visits.

"Right now, it is Southern Cal, Georgia Tech, Ohio St., and Maryland. I will take all five official visits, but I haven't picked the fifth one yet. I am getting closer."

Wells has already posted big numbers for the year. On 96 carries, he has 648 yards and 6 touchdowns. All this has happened over a three game stretch giving an average of over 200 yards a game.

This Friday night Wells will take on his cross town rival Ed White High School. Ed White has one of the top defensive backs in the country, Guesley Dervil. Wells looks forward to the matchup against Dervil, but says not really interested in personal stats.

"I know they will be keying on me. That is what they did in the jamboree. I don't care if I am only used as a decoy. I just want to win the game. My numbers don't matter to me as long as we win the game. If I go for 300 yards and we lose, then I am not satisfied. The only stat I want to see after Friday night is 4. That is 4-0."
