Napier Locks Up Connor
Kavell Connor committed to Clemson during the season. John Lovett originally recruited Connor for Clemson, but since his departure from Clemson graduate assistant Billy Napier has taken over.
"Coach Napier is recruiting me now. I am firm to Clemson. There will not be any other official visits for me."
Connor had just gotten home from his official visit to Clemson.
"I really enjoyed my visit to Clemson. The best part was hanging out with all the players. I enjoyed seeing how they interact and get along together. David Dunham was my player host."
Connor could play a multitude of positions for the Tigers, however he feels he will start out on the defensive side of the ball.
"I am gonna play the whip/rover position. I have good ball vision, and I am going to work on my speed (4.49 forty). I had 78 tackles this year for my high school."
Coach Bowden is expected to visit Connor's home in the near future.
