commits to South Carolina while on his visit at South Carolina tonight. He committed silently to the Gamecocks a few weeks back. He choose the Gamecocks over Georgia, Tennessee, and Clemson among others. He is a consensus 4 star running back recruit by the major recruiting services. Davis rushed for 1,923 yards and 21 touchdowns as a senior at Stephenson. Rushed for 1,200 yards rushing, 14 TDs, one on a kickoff return as a junior. Brother of former Tiger running back James Davis. The youngest of five siblings and ”the baby” in the Davis clan. Mike is seven years younger than James.
