Playing in his third game since returning from major knee injury, Clemson commitment Marlin Lane is improving with each start. Mainland defeated Port Orange Spruce Creek 21-0 behind two touchdowns from Lane. He rushed for 113 yards on 12 carries (first 100 yard game of season) and also caught two passes for 49 yards, including a 32-yard touchdown.

Lane also took an unofficial visit to Florida for the LSU game last Saturday. He said he is still "100% committed" to Clemson but would not rule out an official visit to Florida at some point.
