3-Star Rock Hill native DL Roderick Byers chose Oregon over USC and several schools at his Northwestern HS press conference around 4:13PM EST.
Oregon's coach Chip Kelly was at the Press conference today watching the commitment. Many experts believe Clemson would have been a major player for his services if they would have offered him. He had offers from Oregon, South Carolina, Georgia Tech, Maryland, Texas Tech, and Wake Forest.
