talks about playing for a 4-A state high school championship this Saturday.

“I understand the recruiting thing,” Register said. “I know people wanted me to sign and go to this school or that school and then get to college. I get it. But there’s time for all that later. It’s going to be great at Clemson, but this is my time here with my teammates, my first time and my last time to play for a state championship.

"It’s emotional. I’ve been thinking about it a lot lately. These are my last days here, on this field, playing for my school. It’s never going to be the same. That’s why we want to end this the right way.”
