Warner Robbins defensive back prospect Brandon King's stock is currently rising. He listed offers from Clemson, Maryland, and Florida. Also, Georgia and Auburn are close to offering.

"Clemson, Maryland, Florida, Georgia, and Auburn are my top five right now. All have offered except Auburn and Georgia. I hear from their coaches every week though."

King will make his first trip to Clemson this weekend, and he had a hard time finding the words to describe his excitement about the upcoming unofficial visit.

"I am coming to Clemson this weekend for the game. This will be my first game at Clemson. I am ready to see them run down the Hill. They tell me it is crazy. Also, I want to see Chansi (Stuckey) play again. He is from my neighborhood. He was ridiculous in high school, so it will be cool getting to watch him play again."

King has set up an official visit with Georgia on December 10. King is in the process of setting up official visits with the other four schools.

Like many top prospects King has had to put recruiting on hold to focus on the playoffs. This Friday King will take on Parkview.

" We play Parkview Friday night. We don't have any choice but to be ready. We have had a good week of practice. If I play like I did last week, I think we can win. They are ranked number 3 and we are ranked number 6. My school had not made it to the playoffs in like six or seven years. My school has never been this far. If we win this week, we go to the Georgia Dome."

Jack Hines is recruiting King for the Tigers.
