Jake Johnson has received a lot of interest from several schools. None of the schools have come forth with offers, but it may be a matter of time for the big lineman.

"Clemson, South Carolina, Marshall, Penn State, Tennessee, and some others are showing interest. Coach Reaves from South Carolina came by this week to watch me work out."

Johnson is listed at 6-5 335, but now he says he has added a few pounds.

"I weigh between 340 and 345. I need to lose some weight. A lot of coaches are coming by to evaluate me, and this is not the weight that I perform best at. I want to lose at least 15 pounds."

Johnson is probably the second best offensive linemen in the state this year behind Clifton Geathers. We do project Clemson to offer Johnson, and it may happen during Clemson's camp.

"This summer I will be camping at Clemson and South Carolina. Hopefully, if I perform well at the camps they will offer me. I am just going to go out there and give it everything I have."

During the camp, we will keep a close eye on Johnson as well as several other prospects the Tigers have yet to offer.
