Johnson Looking At Playing Time
Carl Johnson is one of the hottest names in recruiting. Johnson holds over 20 offers heading into April. Johnson is very familiar with Clemson.
"Clemson has offered me. I have been to their camp the last three years. I was there for their Junior Day this year. It was a really good trip, but my Dad wasn't able to make it."
Johnson's dad Jeff Parker played at Clemson for two seasons, but that may or may not give the Tigers an inside track.
"I am keeping my options open right now. Clemson and North Carolina are the only two schools I will visit this spring. I am headed to the Nike Camp in Athens that will be my next stop."
One thing that is beginning to heat up with Johnson is the possibility of graduating early.
"I could probably do it. I would just have to take for extra credit hours to make it. My father and I have discussed and we tossed the idea to Clemson and North Carolina. Both agreed it would help me get on the field sooner. I probably will decide this summer."
Johnson holds offers from virtually every ACC and SEC school. The Tigers will be heavily in the mix with Johnson, but it is too early to name a favorite in this battle.
