2017 wide receiver Will Brown from Spartanburg, SC (Boiling Springs HS) has committed to Clemson as a preferred walk-on according to his Twitter account.

"Just got a call from Coach Swinney," Brown tweeted. "Extremely excited to say that I have officially recieved a preferred walk on spot to play football at Clemson University and will be a Tiger. Very humbled and blessed by the Lord to have received this opportunity. Go Tigers."

As a junior, he had 79 catches for 1,281 yards with 11 touchdowns. He also had 17 rushes for 146 yards with a rushing score and a punt return touchdown.
